• San Andres conventional core from the main reservoir in Goldsmith field

• San Andres conventional core from the residual oil zone in Goldsmith field

• Clear Fork tight reservoir from Lee Harrison field

• Wolfcamp unconventional core from the Fasken C Ranch

The core workshop will provide a step by step procedure of what to do first, second, third, etc. when describing a core, whether a conventional, tight, or unconventional core. This procedure has served your instructor well in describing over 400+ cores for half a century in the petroleum industry for Gulf, Chevron, ChevronTexaco, Saudi Aramco, and Consulting for various companies. The procedure is simple and straightforward and will give one the basic knowledge of How To Describe A Core.
