awards
PBS-SEPM has had the great honor of working with some amazing individuals over its history. It has been our pleasure to acknowledge a few of those "Pillars of the (Geoscience) Community," especially those who have contributed to our understanding of the Permian Basin, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, or geosciences in general. We recognize these people through various awards. Many of our awardees are dedicated individuals who have contributed their time and service to the section, volunteers who have helped the society in all manner of undertakings over the years, and companies who have contributed their service and support to the Section. The awards are as follows: Honorary Life Membership Award, Dedicated Service Award, Volunteer of the Year, and The Perryman Award. You can read a little more about each one and see the awardees, below.
